LA County “First 5” Children’s Gardens

Los Angeles, California

Our team executed an organize-design-build process to make seven new gardens that are useful and meaningful for its host neighborhood, and help families with preschool children to achieve better health outcomes. The garden design process asked the gardeners to choose how to talk about these topics.  Care for the health of our environment is shown through plantings that attract butterflies and develop new appreciations for whole fruits and vegetables.
